The party, which was attended by 600 of BA's chosen guests, was held in a wonderful old hanger at Heathrow. There was one Concorde inside, partly dismantled and labeled so that guests could inspect it, and one Concorde outside.
When Susan had finished singing, 3 Concordes flew in in succession, one of which had been circling the Bay of Biscay as it did when she sang for the launch of Concorde in Bristol and Toulouse in 1975 and 1976.
